Tony Vaughan the excellent defender on loan at Ninian Park has been
put on the transfer list at Man City. Vaughan who is mid way through his second month with
the Bluebirds has been a big hit with the Ninian Park crowd. He cost Man City £1.35m but
Joe Royle has stated he would do all he could to help Cardiff City buy the player. Royle
and Burrows are old friends and Royle said he would do anything to give Frank a helping
hand. Vaughan came on loan because he wanted first team football which he was missing out
on at Maine Rd, Man City have plenty of defensive cover so Royle has allowed the player to
leave. While I know that we are desparate for a striker the chance to sign a player of Vaughan's quality cannot be passed up. |
