Matt
Brazier and Russell Perrett may be in line for a return to the squad to play Bury on
Saturday. Brazier is the fitter of the two and is likely to be added. Perrett may be kept
for a return in the FAW game against Barry at Ninian Park next Monday. Tony Vaughan, who
was taken off against Brentford with a head injury, will be fit to play. Jamie Hughes will
be out of action for two weeks after twisting an ankle with Mark Bonner and Craig
Middleton still recovering from their injuries. Bury may include new signing Baichung Bhutia in their squad. Bhutia will be the first Indian professional footballer to play in the football league. He is regarded as the subcontinents version of Michael Owen. He scored 36 goals in 24 games last season for East Bengal and regulararly played in front of crowds of over 100,000. (Bury will come as a bit of shock then I would imagine). He has only just had his work permit granted so he may not be quite ready for Saturday. |
