City's new signings will get their first chance to play at Ninian Park tomorrow in the only pre season game to be held at the ground. Matt Brazier has played here before but for Willie Boland, Russell Perrett and Winston Faerber it will be their first taste of football at Ninian. Shamrock Rovers are the opposision in a match that was originally due to be part of the Centenary Tournament. A couple of hundred Irish fans are expected to make the trip to see the game. Shamrock are unbeaten in their pre season campaign, including a 2 - 1 win over Boca Juniors from Argentina and a 1 - 1 draw with Scottish Premiership side St Johnstone.

Jon Hallworth will play tomorrow and is odds on to be in goal on August 7th v Millwall. Khadim Faye has arrived at Ninian Park but will have a weeks trial before any descision is taken on his future. City are hoping to have Russell Perrett fit and he will line up alongside the only two other fit defenders we have, Lee Jarman and Jeff Eckhardt. Mike Ford, Scott Young and Lee Phillips will all miss the game through injury. Up front Kevin Nugent may be rested tomorrow to ensure he is fit to face Millwall. Jason Bowen will be joined by Dai Thomas if Nugent does not play. Winston Faerber and Matt Brazier are likely to start as the two wing backs. Burrows has an adundance of talent in midfield with Mark Bonner, Jason Fowler, Willie Boland, Richard Carpenter, Andy Legg, Danny Hill and Craig Middleton all eager to play.
