orient.jpg (10633 bytes)Cardiff City 6 - 0 Chester City, FA Cup rd 1 last season. How much would we give for that result again tomorrow. City will start as favourites because we are the second division team and Orient are strugling at the bottow of Division 3. This is the FA Cup though, anything can happen. Apart from a 1 - 0 win at Newtown in the FAW Cup we have not won away from home since August. Time has come for change, we must get out of the poor run we are currently in, we need a confidence boost ahead of a relegation battle at Ninian Park on Tuesday against Blackpool in the league.

Time also to put the will he / won't he talk about Franks contract to one side as well. Word from Frank is that he is waiting to get an offer, the club seem to be saying he has an offer. Either way boys sort it out. Unity and support is needed to progress. We know we are not a bad team but some support all round will help us through this blip.

Franks has made a popular change to the squad for tomorrows games. Dai Thomas has been dropped from the 18 man party travelling to Orient today. Also dropped is John Cornforth. Tony Vaughan misses the trip because he is cup tied. Jason Bowen, Mark Bonner and Mike Ford respectively fill the vacant seats on the coach. Jeff Eckhardt has resumed training after a knock sustained at Wigan last week, hence his substitution. He is likely to play but if he fails a fitness test his place will be taken by Scott Young.

The 18 man party is
Hallworth, Kelly, Faerber, Legg, Eckhardt, Perrett, Young, Ford, Brazier, Carpenter, Hill, Bonner, Boland, Fowler, Middleton, Nugent, Bowen, Roberts.
