Jason Bowen looks like returning to partner Kevin Nugent against Orient on Saturday. After a few poor performances SuperKev will need to start scoring or he is going to get dropped. Chris Roberts will fight for place on the bench against Dai Thomas. Do us a favour Frank, give the youngster a go. Mike Ford will return in defence alongside Perrett and Eckhardt. Ford replaces Tony Vaughan who is cup tied.

Mark Bonner is also available for selection and I would imagine he will be putting Carpenter and Cornforth under pressure for a place on the bench. My early team forcast for Saturday is: Hallworth, Faerber, Eckhardt, Perrett, Ford, Legg, Hill, Boland, Fowler, Nugent, Bowen. On the bench. Kelly, Young, Thomas or Roberts, Brazier, Carpenter or Bonner or Cornforth.

Mike Ford has told of his ambition to manage Oxford Utd, the position is vacant at the moment but Fordy admits its too soon. He's made no secret of the fact that he would like to go into coaching / management and Oxford would be his ideal team.

City youth have arranged to play their second round cup match against Barnet youth on Wednesday 3rd November at Underhill kick off 7:30pm.
