Sorry
for a late and brief preview. I've been away for a couple of days. Cardiff go into the
game at Kenilworth Rd later today with injury forcing out Willie Boland (waist), Danny
Hill (ankle) and Mark Bonner (hamstring). Back in contention are Russell Perrett (but
doubtful, maybe a game too early), Richard Carpenter who played in a freindly game in
midweek and Jason Fowler returning from suspension. Its thought that Frank will play as follows:- Hallworth, with a back 5 of Faerber, Eckhardt, Young, Ford and Brazier. Andy Legg will play midfield with Jason Fowler returning to his favoured midfield position. They will be joined by either Carpenter, Cornforth or Middleton. Bowen and Nuge as usual up front. As nornal Frank has the last say. He will select on Saturday morning after assessing the squad. City are aiming to stay unbeaten in the league. Confidence will be high after Wednesday but it was a long night for some players. I hope the summer fitness regime has worked. |
