 The Bluebirds make the short
trip over the Severn Bridge tonight to play Paul Bodin's Bath City. City will be without
the injured Mike Ford, who contrary to earlier reports will be out for another week,
posibly two, which puts him in doubt for the start of the season. Also out tonight will be
Lee Phillips, Matt Brazier, Kevin Nugent and Russell Perrett the latter four players all
picked up knocks and strains while on tour in Scotland but should all be available for
selection come August 7th. Winston Faerber will not feature tonight as he is back in
Holland with his family. He is expected back in Cardiff by the end of the week to complete
his move to Ninian Park. The front two of Dai Thomas and Jason Bowen will continue tonight
after their successful partnership at Falkirk last Saturday. Jason performed well and
should have scored, Dai performed well and did score. Ex City striker Steve White is Paul
Bodin's assistant at Bath and he may play some part of the game tonight. Result and match
