When things get bad, they seem to stay bad. City have become the latest victims in Barry Towns quest to prove they are as professional as the local league teams. Barry made the ideal start with a goal within 2 minutes, a good chance for Dai Thomas was squandered and Barry turned their defence into offence and scored form the keepers clearance. Questions need to be asked of the City defence who gave Davies too much time on the ball and Shay Kelly who let the ball slip under him from a 25 yard shot. City came back into the game when Chris Roberts smashed home the equaliser. It was Barry though who seized the initiative and Jenkins headed home what turned out to be the winner. City did get the ball across the line in the second half from a Scott Young header but the goal was not given as the linesman did not see it cross the line. Those of use with TV replay could see it should have been a goal. Despite City's attemps the equaliser did not come and we have lost another away game. Jason Bowen played the second half and added that much needed pace into the attack. Tony Vaughan and Chris Roberts impressed and I did notice Matt Brazier beat a defender to put in a cross, but the stats will show we have lost another game. |
