Cardiff City will announce later today a major new investment. Property Developer and loyal Cardiff City fan Michael Isaac has committed a major sum to the football club and will take a seat on the board. Mike Price and Phil Jardine have both stepped down as Directors. Many thanks have been passed to Mike and Phil, Mike has taken a 2 year contract in Switzerland so will be unavailable for Cardiff City duty but he is hoping to return to the club on his return. Phil Jardine, due to work committments will step down from the board. It must be stressed that Cardiff City Football Club offer warm thanks to both men who have been a major factor in the resurgance of the Club.

Michael Isaac will be warmly welcomed and the benefit of having another true fan on the board is a major boost to all concerned.

This is, as you will agree great news for the club.

I can also reveal that a major announcement is expected on Friday. I hope to have more news on that first thing on Friday morning. Watch this space. The future is bright, the future is BLUE.

The Board of Cardiff City Association Football Club wish to announce the resignation from the Board of Mr Michael Price & Mr Phillip Jardine. Mr Michael Price has taken the decision due to overseas work commitments but still hopes to contribute again sometime in the future. Mr Phillip Jardine, a partner in Morgan Cole Solicitors has resigned due to increased work commitment making it impracticable for him to continue in the post. The Chairman and Directors wish to extend their best wishes and gratitude for the contribution that Mr Price and Mr Jardine have given to the Club and undoubtedly the effort and energy they brought to the Club had a major influence on the Club achieving promotion last Season.

The Board are however delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Michael Isaac as a new Director of Cardiff City AFC. Mr Isaac is making a substantial investment in the Club and will concentrate on Commercial operations working closely with Mr Brian Blower to further develop and enhance the Club’s Commercial activities. Mr Isaac is a successful Property Investor and Developer and a life long supporter of the Club
