| Sun 21st Nov 1999 - Bolton await replay winners | |
| November Headlines |
The draw for the 3rd round of the FA Cup ended as a disappointment as City were the 62nd team out and drawn away at Bolton, provided they can overcome Bury in the replay at Ninian Park on Nov 30th. Only three balls were left when Bolton came out of the bag and City / Bury came next, the last team out was Aston Villa who have been paired at home with the wild card entry. It would have have been a dream draw for Mark Delaney if City and Villa could have been drawn together. Its possible that may still happen though as if City get beat next week they could be the wild card entry and face Villa at Villa Park. The full draw is Reading/Halifax v Plymouth/Brighton |
