The Uefa U18 championship starts in S.Wales this week with four city players in the Welsh squad. Rob Earnshaw, Lee Skelly, Jon Darbyshire and Geza Hajgato are the players concerned.

Wales play Georgia tonight at Merthyr Tydfil, followed by Switzerland on Wednesday at Jenner Park, Barry and then Italy back in Merthyr on Friday.

City have two players in the Wales U15 squad for the match against Northern Ireland on Friday at Wrexham. They are Josh Dupres and Guy Helman.

Wales are soon to anounce the U21 squad for the game against Switzerland at Newtown on Friday Oct 8th. Chris Roberts, Lee Jarman and Rob Earnshaw were all in the last squad, Lee Phillips has been involved before and will hope for a call up.

If three City players are called up I believe we have the option of calling off our scheduled league game on that weekend. We are due to play Bristol Rovers on Oct 9th at the Memorial Ground. I will advise further when I get more news.
