Cardiff participated in a cracking game at Turf Moor today but came away the losers. City took the lead on 15 mins but it was 1 - 1 at half time. After 20 minutes of sustained Burnley second half pressure the home team took the lead. The game continued to be an end to end affair but despite several late corners and pressure the Bluebirds could not get back into the game.

City will take heart from the performance but not the result. The only slight consolation was actually scoring against Burnley at Turf Moor. It was nearly 8 hours of football since Scunthorpe got the last goal there from a visiting team.
