| October Headlines |
New loan signing Josh Low will make his debut for City at Newtown
tonight in the FAW Premier Cup. All the paperwork was sorted yesterday so the 20 year old
winger will be put straight into the team. Also playing tonight will be Russell Perrett,
the defender is still trying to regain match fitness after his long lay off with injury.
City take a mixture of young and old to Newtown tonight. The full squad is:-S Kelly, P Buttery, L Skelly, C Davis, D Thomas, R Carpenter, A Legg, C Middleton, M Ford, J Low, C Roberts, J Cornforth, R Perrett, M Brazier, L Jarman. Seamus will play in goal with rookie Paul Buttery his understudy. Lee Skelley, who played against Newtown at Ninian Park, and Craig Davis are the other youth players in the squad. Low is a newcomer but the rest of the travelling party are all first team players. Again some of these boys have a chance to prove themselves,
squad players let themselves down against Barry last week but they get another chance
tonight. City currently lead the group on 4 points with a win and a draw. I will have video action available late tonight and will update the site as well. |
