| Mon 11th Oct 1999 - Josh Low joins City on loan | |
| October Headlines |
20 year old
midfield / forward Josh Low has arrived at Ninian Park today for a one month loan period.
Low has arrived from Leyton Orient where he has been involved in 6 games so far this
season, scoring one goal. Low joined the O's in the summer from Bristol Rovers. Early
reports from Orient suggest he is an exciting prospect.I have not seen or heard of Low before so I have to rely on Franks judgement that he may be able to do a job for us. After hearing from the club that Taihuttu was not better than any player on the books at the moment I would assume that this lad is a sharp player who is better than some of the squad we currently have. Lets hope Frankie has found a gem. There is no news as to whether Josh could be a permanent signing, I guess his performances during his loan period will answer that question. He played for Bristol Rovers last season. In his career with
the Pirates he played for them 16 times + 15 subs appearances with no goals. This season 3
+ 3 subs for Orient with one goal. I understand that Low is cleared to play for City in the FAW match at Newtown tomorrow night. This is a loan deal not a trial. The player is treated now as one of our own. Josh Low |
