Jerry Taihuttu, scorer of a hat trick in yesterdays reserve team game, has returned to Holland. Frank Burrows wanted to see the player in action twice during his planned 10 day stay here but that plan has been scuppered after the cancelation of next weeks reserve team game because of FAW Cup action. Because Jerry was only on trial he could not turn out for the club in League or FAW Cup action. Frank felt there was no need to keep him here if he could not see him in competitive action. I have no news as to whether Frank will want to keep in contact with the player.

Further to the news above it seems that Frank did not think Jerry was any better than what he has at the moment. He expected him to do well against a young Plymouth reserve side. I hope Frank is right. There is a lot of amazement that the player was not worth further investigation.
