The Super Furry Animals have joined forces with Cardiff City and will sponsor the teams FAW Premier Cup shirts. The official announcement is expected on Wednesday. It is reported to be a 5 figure sum. The home shirt pictured above is a 1920's style with lace collar and was worn by the team against Newtown last Saturday. The away kit will be orange and chocolate quarters based on the original kit when the club was formed.

This is great news for City, associating them with one of the UK's leading bands. The Super Furries are a local band who support the club as well.
