Injury hit Russell Perrett is hoping to play a part in a friendly match at Goytre tonight. He will be part of a young squad travelling West. Also included will be Chris Roberts and Rob Earnshaw, the rest of the squad is expected to be made up of mainly trainees.

If Perrett can get some time on the pitch it will be his first action since the opening game of the season. A bruised and then infected foot has kept him out of action. A positive return tonight could see Perrett in contention for Saturday at Wycombe.

Injury news ahead of the weekend. Mark Bonner and Danny Hill remain injured and they are joined by Craig Middleton who suffered hamstring and achillies damage against Newtown last Saturday. All three will miss the Wycombe game.

Willie Boland will miss one match after his red card last Saturday. It will be the home FAW game v Barry on October 5th.

There was a rumour about Jason Bowen and Turkish side Bekistas over the weekend. Nothing further has come from that.

Another rumour that has just started is that City are expected to sign 2 new players, both ex Swansea and one player, also previously with Swansea will leave Cardiff City? There is no substance in either of the above rumours at the moment but rest assured I will bring you any news as it happens.
