It was the Cherries that did the picking today. They picked up the only goal and picked up 3 points. From the commentary I heard City were in contention but when it came down to it Bournemouth had a striker who could put the ball into the net and City did not. Jason Bowen missed a fine chance in injury time to level it but his toe poke from the edge of the 6 yard box hardly toubled Ovendale. I still try to be as positive as possible but we have only won 2 out of 15 league games. Not good. Attention on Tuesday turns back to the FA Cup. Surley we cannot fail against the 92nd club in the league? Can we? |
