After the disappointment of the league defeat at Bury last Saturday the Bluebirds have a chance to gain a confidence building win in the FAW Cup tonight. Thats not to say they will be taking Barry Town lightly. The Dragons won 7 - 0 on the weekend and have been consistently successfull over the last few years. They are also curently the holders of the FAW Premier Cup after beating Wrexham at the Racecourse in the final last May.

Willie Boland will miss the match through suspension, after being sent off against Newtown in the 2 - 1 victory last month.

Tonights squad includes, returning from injury, Matt Brazier, Mark Bonner, Craig Middleton and Russell Perrett. Also included in the squad are Rob Earnshaw and Christian Roberts. Youth player Craig Davies is also included. These players join Mike Ford, Shay Kelly, Lee Jarman, Danny Hill, Richard Carpenter and Dai Thomas.

No mention of Kevin Nugent, Jason Bowen, Andy Legg, Winston Faerber, Scott Young, Jeff Eckhardt, John Cornforth, Jason Fowler or Tony Vaughan. All nine of those players started against Bury, of the other two starters, Willie Boland as I mentioned is suspended, and Seamus Kelly is likely to play tonight.

The boys on the bench at Bury, Hill, Thomas, Carpenter and Jarman are expected to play tonight. Ian Loveless may be used as the reserve keeper.

Frank must give Earnie a chance. he scored 3 times for Wales U18 the other week, and its obvious we need new blood in our attack. Give him a go Frankie!!!

Only the Grandstand and the Family Enclosure will be used tonight. Season ticket holders can use voucher B in their season ticket books to gain free entry. There are vastly reduced admission prices for paying fans. £6 / £3 in the Grandstand and £4 / £2 in the Family Enclosure.
