Khadim Faye is the other definate name associated with Cardiff City. He continues his trial

The following article is from Total Wales.

MARK TINKLER was in Cardiff yesterday for talks about a possible £100,000 transfer from York City, writes Phil Blanche.
The 24-year-old former Leeds United defender met City manager Frank Burrows after the club's pre-season photocall at Ninian Park.
But Burrows, who said the talks went well, said he did not expect the move to be completed before the season-opener with Millwall on Saturday.
He said, "I've had a good chat with Mark and he's looked around the place.
"He wanted to see the set-up here but I don't think anything will happen before our first game."
Burrows's bid to sign a Premier League player were dashed yesterday when it was discovered that the target may have to serve a ban.
"The player in question may be suspended for the two or three games," said Burrows.
"It has to go to tribunal but if he is not suspended he will definitely be coming here."
Burrows hopes to secure the £50,000 signing of Senegalese goalkeeper Khadim Faye from Portuguese club Felgueiras before the weekend.
