The
mysterious German striker seems to have been a bag of hot air. The Echo reveals that City
were trying to sign Lee Peacock from Mansfield but could not compete with the
£750,000 offer accepted from Man City. It is also alledged that we are chasing a non
league striker but his club want £200,000 for him. It looks as though Josh Low will become our next permanent signing. The young lad currently on loan from orient has been offered a contract at Ninian Park. Low has recovered from injury and joins a full fit squad for tomorrow's game against relegation rivals Blackpool. Tomorrow's clash is a real 6 pointer. We must start winning, especially our home games against poor opposition. Blackpool though are on a roll and had a very creditable 2 - 0 win against Stoke in the FA Cup on Saturday. |
