| Wed 30th January 2002. Time for big win on the big screen | |

Last
Sunday around 2,800 fans paid there money watch City play at Ninian Park. Well Prenton
Park the team was playing but the big screen, like last season was well supported. Also
like last season City were beaten in front of more fans watching the screen that many
clubs get for an average attendance. The game against Brighton tomorrow will be the 4th time the screen has been used. Last season it was a game against Brighton that was watched by nearly 3,000 people as City were beaten by a Bobby Zamora goal. Later in the season Neil Grayson scored a Sunday lunchtime hat trick for Cheltenham as City went down 3 - 1. A game in which City took the lead. Last Sunday lunchtime City went down 3 - 1 at Tranmere, again after taking the lead. The worrying trend therefore predicts a 1 - 0 Brighton win. But have faith, we are due a win on the screen and tomorrow would be a perfect time. After back to back league wins City are going for a third straight victory, not achieved so far this season. Last week Feng Shui experts claimed the screen should be in a different position at Ninian Park. They may be right but the fact is that it is located in front of the Grandstand and the facilities it has to offer. Another big crowd is expected at Ninian Park and the expected return of Peter Thorne will hopefully make it a first win on the screen. |
