Easter weekend. Make or break for some clubs. By 4.50pm on Monday we should be fairly clear as to who will be challenging for the promotion and play off places. Most teams at the top bar City and Huddersfield will only have three games to go.

Looking ahead to Saturday. City of course are away to Chesterfield. With Earnie possibly back in the squad and new boys Croft and Bywater adding strength to the bench, City must go for three points.

The top of the table looks like this

The fixtures on Saturday are as follows.

Bristol City v Reading.

No doubts on this one. Reading to win. We are not going to claw back a 12 point deficit on the Royals. We can though eliminate the Wurzels.

Colchester v Brighton

I think Brighton, now that Zamora is out of the team, are much weakened and I think they might struggle at Colchester. A home win would do just nicely.

Brentford v Stoke.

What a game. This one and the Bristol v Reading game are obviously the matches of the day. Two of City's rivals playing against each other. It has to be a draw.

Wrexham v Huddersfield.

Quite simple. Come on Wrexham.

Chesterfield v Cardiff City.

Need you ask. Andy Campbell going for 4 to keep his run going.

Oldham v Cambridge.

The U's have not won away all season. Oldham last time they ran out at Boundary Park were given a 7 goal spanking by City. Should be a home win but if Cambridge get anything then Oldham are out of play off contention.

Tranmere v Q.P.R.

Jason Koumas is still a Tranmere player after refusing a £2.4m move to West Brom. If these two draw then they will scupper any outside chance of a play off spot.

First and foremost City must win tomorrow. After that any results going our way will be a bonus.
