Daniel Gabbidon made his full Wales debut last night and impressed the watching world. Gabbidon started the game and played the full 90 minutes as a mix of youth and experience held one of the best teams in Europe to a goalless draw.

Gabbidon will have earned himself much respect as he showed great comfort and composure when on the ball. He was preferred to Huddersfield's Steve Jenkins. Rhys Weston and Scott Young were both un-used substitutes.

Congratulations to Daniel on what will surely become the first of many Welsh caps.
