Amazing hot on the heels of Gary Croft comes Ceri Hughes from Portsmouth.

While City fans were still trawling the net to find information about Gary Croft it was revealed that former Wales midfielder Ceri Hughes had signed from Portsmouth.

Hughes, 31,  has been spotted at Ninian Park recently watching a reserve team game. He joins the Bluebirds on a short term contract. Not a loan. We are only allowed two loan signings at a time so Ceri is officially a City player.

Hughes is a midfielder who started his career at Luton Town where he made 157 league starts. He moved to Wimbledon for £400,000 before going to Fratton park for £150,000 in January 2000. In total he has been involved in over 280 league and cup games scoring 23 goals.

Hughes has made 8 appearances for Wales.

Welcome to Ninian Park.
