City boss Lennie Lawrence has apologised to the 600 odd City fans who made their way to Huddersfield last night.

"I'm so sorry about the fans who made a wasted journey" said Lawrence.

Lennie and Lou Macari went out onto the pitch with the referee and the decision was unanamous. Lennie said

"For me it wasn't playable. If you can't pass a ball on a surface, I'm not interested."

The game has not been rescheduled yet but both City and Huddersfield are free on Tuesday March 19th, 3 days before City entertain Wrexham at Ninian Park. The following Tuesday, March 26th is also available but Wales play the Czech republic on Wednesday March 27th so Daniel Gabbidon and if fit Rob Earnshaw, may be involved for Wales.

Next available day after that is April 9th.

City fans dispersed last night with some visiting other games, a fair size contingent turned up at Boundary Park, Oldham and made some noise. Several went to Barnsley and other had a meal and some drinks in and around Huddersfield before leaving for home.
