Speculation tonight that Sam has sacked Alan Corked and Ian Butterworth has been denied by Sam himself.

Sam told the BBC that Alan and Ian left Prenton Park alone because they re out scouting.

Sam confirmed that words were exchanged when he was not allowed near the City bench, apparantly because he was left of the guest list.

The matter is now closed and Cork is still manager.
