Andy Campbell and Layton Maxwell are expected to start tonights game with play off rivals Huddersfield.

Its been confirmed that Layton Maxwell will replace Mark Bonner who is iinjured and it is thought that Jason Bowen will drop back into midfield to replace the suspended Graham Kavanagh with Andy Campbell making his debut up front alongside Peter Thorne.

City therefore expected to be

Alexander, Low, Weston, Young, Gabbidon, Legg, Boland, Maxwell, Bowen, Thorne, Campbell. Subs Walton. Prior, Brayson, Leo FW, plus one.

Since Lenny took control in the two matches so far he has kept a reserve keeper on the bench.

Missing skipper and leading scorer Graham Kavanagh is disappointed to be missing tonights game

"I'm very disappointed to miss these two games, especially after getting two wins and scoring the goals.

"At this point in the season it's very important that we have everybody available. We can't afford to have any more suspensions.

"We're now in with a great shout of making the play-offs. We're only three points off third place and that's fantastic.

"Just over a week ago, after we lost at Brentford and Wigan, it was all doom and gloom. But now we have a great chance of making the play-offs and that's a credit to the lads.

"We were written off last week. We've been written off many times this season. Rightly or wrongly, the pressure at Cardiff is incredible.

"Every week not only have we got to win but we've got to play exceptionally well and that's a bit unfair in this division.

"Sometimes you have to grind out results and that's what we've done in the last two matches."

Huddersfield go into tonights game on the back of a good win at Blackpool on the weekend. They could be without midfielder Chris Holland, he was injured in the Blackpool game and will face a late fitness test. Pacey American winger John Thorrington is expected to start the game as is Welshman Steve Jenkins. Jenkins is the right back and Huddersfield's skipper.

Huddersfield are also at home on Saturday to Wigan. City meanwhile are away again, this time at Northampton. With Huddersfield being 2 points ahead of City the Bluebirds will not want to allow the Terriers to move 5 ponts ahead with a home game coming up. A draw would be considered a great result tonight at a team in good form.

The referee tonight is Graham Laws from Tyne and Weir.
