The draw for the fifth round of the FA Cup will take place on Sunday night without Manchester Utd. The favourites were beaten today at Middlesbrough and joined Charlton and Leicester as the Premiership casualties so far in round 4. Charlton were humbled by 1st division Walsall and Leicester went out at West Brom. Cardiff will be hoping to make the round 5 draw and join up with the likes of Blackburn, Everton, Fulham, Crewe, Preston as well as the teams mentioned above. Cheslsea and West Ham are both in the hat after a 1 - 1 draw today. Sunday's games see Arsenal play Liverpool while Man City, Newcastle and Spurs are still to play. Cardiff City travelled to Tranmere today without Robert Earnshaw. Its hoped that Gavin Gordon will be fit to to play and he could be joined by Paul Brayson upfront. With Willie Boland coming straight back into the team Jason Bowen could be the player to miss out as he did against Leeds. The rest of the team should be unchanged with Des Hamilton keeping his place as wing back. The squad is Alexander, Hamilton, Weston, Young, Gabbidon, Legg, Boland, Bonner, Kavanagh, Bowen, Brayson, Gordon, Leo FW, Low, Maxwell, Collins, Giles, Kendall. Kick off at Prenton Park is at 1:00pm. |
