Lawrence has pulled Robert Earnshaw out of the reserve team squad for the trip to Norwich
on Wednesday. Lawrence does not want to have the player travel for 5 hours while he is
still trying to regain full fitness. Lawrence told the Echo "My thoughts right now are that Earnie would be better off playing his next game at home. He might still be in the squads over Easter if his training goes well this week, but it is a big might." Mark Bonner, Jason Bowen and Leon Jeanne are all hoping to start their returns towards the first team. Bonner has been nursing an ankle injury while Jason Bowen has had a neck problem. City are away at Chesterfield on Saturday and then at home on Easter Monday to Port Vale. The next reserve game is on Wednesday evening, April 3rd, at Ninian Park against Bristol Rovers. |
