Cardiff City could be about to dip into the transfer market to bring in a couple of loan players. The Bluebirds have been desperate for a striker and have suffered with a lack of width.

Director of Football Lennie Lawrence has said

"Realistically any players we bring in are likely to be loan deals. We are all travelling the country, making telephone calls and if its needed in the run in we will players needed"

City will be hoping Thorne will be back soon but with Earnie, Gordon and Nogan injured and Nugent on the verge of leaving more players could be needed.
