Tues 23rd April 2002. Injury update

Andy Campbell, Andy Legg and Daniel Gabbidon have been given until Thursday this week to prove they are fully fit and ready to be added to the squad for the game at the Britannia Stadium on Sunday.

Manager Lennie Lawrence told the Echo

"There is no chance any player will be involved unless they have
recovered. For anybody to be involved they must be training flat out by
Thursday. If they want to start they will have to be showing clear
signs tomorrow. For any of the three to start they have to be right. All of them will be short on match fitness, of course, and we might take a
chance on that, but we cannot take that chance if there are any
lingering injury problems."

There is better news for David Hughes, he is called back into the squad after his injury problems. Des hamilton was taken off in yesterday's reserve match and is unlikely to feature in the play offs.
