City reserves are in action today with an Avon Combination game against Reading.

The game is being played at Faraday Rd, Newbury, home of Newbury FC. Kick off is at 2:00pm.

The reserves after a great run in the league have struggled of late. Only 4 defeats this season but they have all come in the last 5 games.

The latest a 4 - 2 home defeat by a much stronger Brentford side.

With an FAW game last week Cty experimented with a third string team and they were left wanting as Brentford scored three time in the last 11 mins to win the game. City's transfer listed players had a run out but for Kurt Nogan there was pleasure and then a lot of pain. Kurt scored City's first goal but then ruptured his achillies and has had surgery. He will not play again this season.

No team news yet for today but I would expect a stronger team with last nights unused subs Maxwell and Hughes and maybe Willie Boland who missed last nights game getting a run out. Lee Kendall should return in goal.

Team news to follow later and score details after thegame.
