It's been announced that Cardiff City will play the play off first leg at The Britannia Stadium on Sunday at 2:00pm.

City will have 2,500 tickets but the agreement is that City fans will travel on officially organised coaches. Only season ticket holders and registered members can apply for tickets.

The reciprocal agreement will work when Stoke fans come to Cardiff. Just under 1,800 tickets are available to Stoke fans who will be season ticket holders travelling on officially organised coaches from Stoke On Trent.

The home leg at Ninian Park will kick off at 7:45pm.

City Chief Executive David Temme told the BBC

"We were expecting a 15 per cent allowance (around 4,200 tickets) which are the competition rules, but because of the concerns of Staffordshire Police and the stadium we were only able to get 2,500.

"It's not ideal, but it is far better than it could have been. While we're not entirely satisfied, it is still just under 10 per cent."

"I think it's fair for us to have an equivalent number of tickets available to the Stoke supporters. And they will be travelling on official transport, as the Cardiff fans will.

"The kick-off time for the first leg is better than some people thought, but with official supporters and the club organising the transport it shouldn't be any earlier."

Tickets for the home leg are selling well. All seats, bar a few for families in the Canton Stand, have been sold. Season ticket holders will have their seats reserved until 9am on Monday April 29th.

Official statement and ticket news can be found on the official website.
