City carved out a vital win at Wycombe inflicting the first home loss of the season on the Chairboys. Graham Kavanagh with a cracker on 67 mins after substitute Jason Bowen laid the ball off for Kav to fire home from just outside the box. City changed the formation today and played with Josh Low and Andy Legg as wingbacks. The win sees City jump two places to 10th and just 4 points off the play off zone. Bristol City are in 2nd place in Div 2 and they are 10 points ahead of City in that all important second promotion spot. City have two games in hand on the Robins so its still there to play for. What is important is for City to follow this result up with a win at home to Stoke, we must take points from Stoke and the Brighton next week if we are to claw our way back into contention. |
