There
are football matches taking place on tomorrow night that affect Cardiff City. Most imortant is the Division 2 clash between Chesterfield and Bristol City at Saltergate. If Bristol fail to win then Cardiff can move into the play off places on Friday night if we beat Wrexham. Bristol City are away again on Saturday when they visit struggling Bournemouth. Neither match will be easy for Bristol City and of course from a Cardiff point of view we'd like them to lose both games. The other Division 2 games on Tuesday see 3rd placed Brentford away to in-form Blackpool. A defeat for Brentford would keep them 8 points ahead of City but having played two games more. Tranmere, who are 5 points behind City are away at Peterborough. After this game Tranmere will have played one game more than City. When you see how tight it is it makes you realise just how important victory over Wrexham is on Friday. The league aside City will find out tomorrow who they will face in the FAW Premier Cup final. Swansea play Barry Town for the right to play City in the final on April 30th. The venue for the final will be decided when both finalists are known. Its thought that it will be a heads or tails decision on which team will host the final. |
