There are doubts over the fitness of Andy Campbell. City's new striker was a major factor in the club making the play offs with his 7 goals in 8 games.

Campbell was taken off at Colchester with a heel injury and has missed the last two games at Huddersfield and against Notts County. He will definately miss the trip to Tranmere on Saturday and his ability to make the play offs is now in question.

The medical staff at Ninian Park are trying to determine the problem with Campbell having a scan on the heel. He has already had injections and x rays.

There was better news regarding Des Hamilton and David Hughes. Both players were written off for the season but made a comeback in the reserve game today against Swindon Town. Andy Legg is recovering from a hamstring problem and if he can make a full week of training next week could be in contention for the play offs.
