Sam
Hammam has vowed to keep his promise and pay for Swansea City fans to come to Ninian Park
for the FAW Premier Cup final. Sam made the offer at a fans meeting in Swans a year ago
saying if ever the teams met again he would pay for the Swans fans to travel to Cardiff. Sam told the Echo "We are offering 10, 15 or even 20 coaches for our Welsh brothers. It is a goodwill gesture - we value them as our guests. We have talked to all parties involved, including the Swansea City management and police. Everybody is happy with what we are doing. I want them to come and have a good time at Cardiff City. I hope the Swans fans will see Ninian Park as their second home. "There is complete harmony between the two club's executive bodies." The game will be played on Monday May 13th with a 6:55pm kick off. The game is also to be televised live on BBC TV. |
