Disaster as the JJB.

4 goals, all from badly defended corners. The first after only 75 seconds.

We were beaten well and truly. From a City point of view there was very little to take from the game.

The attention tonight has turned to the future of Alan Cork. I've yet to see anyone defend the manager after today's embarrassment.

Alan Cork has the most expensive City squad in history. He has the best squad of players City has had for years and today the fans who went to Wigan were singing "Cork Out" and even more alarming "Your'e not fit to wear the shirt"  to the players.

Alan Cork has created what appears to be a far from pleasant environment at Ninian Park. The "tommy burns" scenario, (remember how Legg and Bowen were treated at Reading), with Nogan, McCulloch, Evans, Thompson, Jordan and Brazier being made to train alone and not being fully part of the squad. The spats with Graham Kavanagh that made the newspapers even though they were denied by the club.

City should and could have been in a far stronger position in this division. Alan Cork as manager must take responsibility for not getting the best from his players, for playing players out of position for failing to read games where we have been turned over when other managers changed things to outwit us.

Because the top of the division is so tight we have not lost any ground on the play off places. We are still 5 points behind 6th place and only 8 points behind 3rd spot. Forget 1 and 2.

Alan Cork can take us no further, he does not appear to have the respect of his players and the time has come to try and salvage the season and if we miss out this time give a new manager time to prepare fully for next season. He continually blames the players for bad performances and while, to a point he is right, there is also a responsibility from the manager to take an active part in games and decisions made by him can change the course of the game. Cork appears to have lost his rudder and he has no control.

It saddens me to ask for anyone to be sacked but for the future of Cardiff City Football Club I believe that we need a change.

Alan Cork did well to get us promoted and that will sit proudly on his CV. His man management abilities have let him down this time and he is not yet a division 2 manager.

I have very bad feelings for next week against Bury and Cambridge, it's embarrassing being thumped at Wigan, to see our players fail to perform at home to two of the worst teams in Division 2 will be too much to bear.

Go now Alan Cork and let someone new breath life back into our season and our football club.
