City's pre season friendly game away at Kidderminster on Wednesday July 31st has been
cancelled. In it's place Cardiff have arranged to play Wolverhampton Wanderers at Ninian Park. Kick off at 7:45pm. It looks like those who have been saying that Nathan Blake will return to Ninian this summer are right. He is of course a Wolves player. Wolves will be preparing for another season in Division 1 after suffering heartache in the play offs. Manager Dave Jones told the Wolves official website of his thoughts on his team's pre season plans which include a trip to Portugal and end up with a match against Newcastle United. Weve put together a programme which is varied and challenging as we prepare for the new season. We opted for Portugal because we have been offered excellent training and accommodation facilities, which are used by the national team, along with quality opposition. I was also keen to include some local clubs in our schedule and we look forward to the trips to Kidderminster, Worcester and Burton. Cardiff and Stockport will prove tough tests, and then well round off with a visit from a star-studded Premiership side. (Newcastle) Cardiff's pre season fixture list now looks this
There is still no confirmed news as to who we will play on Aug 3rd but it is going to be our last home pre season game and it is 1 week before the season starts. The league fixtures for next season will be announced on Thursday June 13th at 10am. |
