Lennie Lawrence has offfered Swansea City boss Nick Cusack the use of some of City's fringe players. Speaking after the FAW Cup final on Monday night Lennie told the Echo

"I have talked to Nick Cusack and we are going to help Swansea.

"They are a Welsh club and if he wants certain players on loan we will certainly help out - and even pay part of the players wages if needs be.

"It will help Cardiff City as well, of course, because we have too many players and I need as many as possible playing first-team football."

Cardiff have released the only two out of contract players at Ninian Park. Thats Paul Brayson and Kurt Nogan. All of the remaining first team squad are under contract and as such there will be no retained list. Lennie will be hoping to move some players on but he will still have the majority of his squad at least until the start of pre season when he hopes to either loan out, sell or allow to leave.

On the incoming side Lennie is looking to have three players to add to the squad. Several names have been mentioned but most denied. Lennie is keen for a goalkeeper to back Neil Alexander and possibly a wide man. Lennie is not looking to buy for buyings sake but will snap up a player if he thinks he is getting a bargain as he did with Andy Campbell.
