Many questions are being asked about the arrangements for the play offs. As it stands at the moment the following information is correct. It has been announced via the football league that the first legs of the play off semi finals will be played on Saturday April 27th with the second legs on Wednesday May 1st. At the moment no team can know for sure if they will away for the first leg and at home for the second leg. Any of the teams, Brentford, Cardiff, Stoke and Huddersfield can make 3rd or 4th place. If Reading lose at Brentford then they will definitely be away in the first leg. But if Reading win then there is no guarantee that Brentford will finish 3rd or 4th. The full picture will unfold at 4:50pm next Saturday. I think if Cardiff are paired with Stoke or even Huddersfield away then we may see a change in the fixture. Possibly a midday kick off or something. Tickets for the home play off match, even though we don't know when it is or who the opponents are, will be on sale from 9am on Tuesday April 16th. Season ticket holders will have their seats reserved until 48 hours before the game. Season ticket holders still have to buy their tickets for the play off game. They are not part of the season ticket. Grange End season ticket holders may have to be relocated in the ground as City are obliged to offer 15% of the capacity to the away side. It's possible the who Grange End will be for away fans use. Full ticket news can be found at the tickets link on the official website and over the phone on 0845 345 1400. After the second leg on May 1st the winners will have 10 days to prepare for the Millennium Stadium. The final is at 1.30pm on Saturday May 11th. |
