Butterworth has confirmed that Peter Thorne is still at least a week away from a return to
action. It was hoped that Thorne would take part in one of this weeks games but the
earlierst return will be against Reading in a reserve game next week. City are desperate for Thorne's return. They are wanting in front of goal and a striker of Thorne's calibre would have been scoring for fun if he's been in the team. Its hoped that Michael Simpkins may get a game this week and Des Hamilton is expected to continue his comeback with 90 minutes against Newtown on Wednesday. |
