Lawrence had an injury nightmare after last nights FAW triumph at Wrexham. Josh Low, Des Hamilton and David Hughes were all substituted while Paul Brayson and Layton Maxwell manged to complete the match but all five were limping when they left Wrexham last night. Some players will be hoping to be for Saturdaus crucial league game at Oldham but at the moment we have 14 players in the treatment room. The five players above join Rob Earnshaw, Gavin Gordon and Kurt Nogan, Lee Kendall, Andrew Jordan, Scott Young, Rhys Weston, Mark Bonner and Jason Bowen. With Andy Thomson on the verge of returning from Shrewsbury because of injury we could have 15 sick players. City are now exposed in the right wing back position with both Josh Low and Des Hamilton crocked. There are also four centre halves in the injured list, hopefully Rhys Weston along with either David Hughes or Scott Young will be ready. James Collins played really well in his natural centre half position last night and could be called upon for Saturday. We should know more on Thursday or Friday. |
