Cardiff City have revealed via the official website that Daniel Gabbidon has not broken any bones in his ankle but has some slight medial ligament damage.

The full extent of the injury will not be known until scan results are in.

There is a fear that the injury could force Gabbidon to miss the rest of the season. The same goes for Andy Legg. He could be facing a 6 week lay off with a hamstring injury.

Both players will surely miss the final two league games. The play offs start one week after that.

Josh Low returned to action yesterday for the reserves, he was subbed by Ceri Hughes who was also making a return to action.

Low who is recovering from a hamstring injury felt a tightening and was taken off but that was only precautionary. Hughes came on for Low and Hughes is certain to play in the two reserve games scheduled for next Monday and Wednesday.
