Lawrence has issued a hands off warning over Daniel Gabbidon. The young Wales
international has been attracting Premiership attention and was watched at Huddersfield by
a crowd that inculded Kevin Keegan and Dave Basset. Gabbidon has also been linked to Spurs
and Everton in recent months. Lennie told todays Western Mail "We are not interested in selling Danny," he said. "He is, without a shadow of a doubt, a player we want to hang on to. "Sam (Hammam) is the man to speak to about players being sold. But as far as I'm concerned, I want Danny here next season - the last thing we want to do in the summer is let him go." Gabbidon, who received his first welsh cap last month, could miss Wales' clash with Germany on May 12th if his current injury rules him out for the rest of the season. |
