Tranmere Rovers have this afternoon annouced they will recue cardiff City's ticket allocation to 1,487 for the FA Cup 4th round game on Sunday January 27 at 1:00pm.

The official website statement reads

The FA have confirmed that the request received from Tranmere Rovers and the Merseyside Police, for a reduced allocation of tickets has been considered, and the decision is that Cardiff City is allowed 1,487 tickets.

Under the provisions of Challenge Cup Rule 26(a)(vii) which states:

“ Where it is deemed desirable, the Council shall have the right to vary the allocation to the visiting club, or require a match to be made all ticket.”
