The
Cardiff City youth team won the Welsh Youth Cup at Ninian Park last night. Stuart
Fleetwood scored a late winner for the Bluebirds. Lanelli took the lead only for City, through Richard Ingram and Fleetwood, to go in at half time with a 2 - 1 lead. Lanelli evened the game up with a set piece on the hour but it was Cardiff's night as Fleetwood capitalised on a weak back header and pounced to score the winner. Congratulations to the youngsters. |
