Lennie Lawrence is running short of patience with Jason Bowen and Willie Boland.

Both have firm contract offers on the table but neither have yet signed. Lennie told the Western Mail

"Jason was offered a new contract two weeks ago and Willie last week so it's about time I had an answer.

"I want a response next week. I can accept them wanting a reasonable amount of time to make a decision but it's getting ridiculous.

"I've made intentions to Jason and Willie crystal clear. I don't want the situation dragging on for much longer."

"I want to keep them both. I wouldn't have offered them new contracts otherwise.

"But we can't afford to wait around forever while they make up their minds.

"If we get wind that they intend to mess about until the end of the season we'll withdraw the offers made to them. Perhaps their agents are holding things up. Whatever it is, the ball is in their court."

Scott Young, Andy Legg and Mark Bonner have already signed new deals.
