Matchday five for Lennie. 3 wins and a draw so far is good going. A win tomorrow will keep City right in play off contention. City's influential skipper and leading scorer Graham Kavanagh returns to the team after a two match suspension. Kavanagh is likely to replace Paul Brayson who will get a place on the bench. Also back in is Spencer Prior, he replaces Rhys Weston who misses out after suffering mild concussion against Q.P.R. Des Hamilton is the other major change. He takes a place on the bench and displaces James Collins. City then are expected to line up Alexander, Low, Prior, Young, Gabbidon, Legg, Boland, Maxwell, Kavanagh, Thorne, Campbell. Subs. Leo FW, Walton, Brayson, Simpkins, Hamilton. City will remember back to December when the Bluebirds murdered Blackpool but only drew 1 - 1. City will be expected to win and if the play offs are to be achieved they will need to win. It's tight at the top but 3 points could see the Bluebirds in the play off places. Lennie has told the players to turn on the style. He appreciates they have followed instructions to dig deep over the last 4 difficult games. 10 points from 12 available have shown he made the right choices and he is hoping the players follow his instructions and put on a show for the fans tomorrow. Kick off at Ninian Park is at 3:00pm. Another 12 - 13,000 crowd is expected so get there early, there was congestion against Q P R. |
